I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out on my own before coming here, but I just can’t get it. Just a note, Photodeluxe is the light version of Photoshop so it might not have the option to change the RAM settings. Poke around until you find a choice for RAM. Once you can get PD to open, change the amount of RAM it uses by choosing FILE or EDIT then Preferences. Those actions will remove quite a bit of clutter from the average users computer.

Try deleting your cache, your temporary internet files and emptying your trashcan. They would be in the root of your C:\ drive. Have a look around for a file with an extension of. Has Photodeluxe crashed on you lately? When it crashes, those temp files don’t get deleted. What are your specs? How much RAM, How big a hard drive? Do you have seperate partitions on your hard drive that you could switch to for the scratch disk? It sounds like your computers hard drive might be full. These temp files get deleted when the file is closed or the program is closed normally. It stores information (data) there while performing operations. Photodeluke uses free space on your computers hard drive as a temporary (or scratch) disk.
